Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision in Fabens
A tragic multi-vehicle crash occurred in Fabens, resulting in the death of a 54-year-old woman named Maria De Cisneros Romo and injuries to two others. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident on Alameda Avenue, where a collision involving multiple vehicles had taken place. Special Traffic Investigators are now leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Initial findings suggest that a red Silverado and an SUV were traveling in opposite directions on Alamenda when the SUV attempted to pass the Silverado and collided head-on with a gray pickup. Subsequently, the Silverado also collided with the SUV. The drivers of the Silverado and the pickup were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
