Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision Claims Life of Pregnant Woman in Anaheim
Early on Sunday morning in Anaheim, a tragic crash involving multiple vehicles resulted in the death of a pregnant woman, according to authorities. The incident, which happened just after midnight at North Lemon Street above the 91 Freeway, involved a white Toyota Camry and a gray Lexus. The Camry was heading southbound over the 91 Freeway when it collided with the Lexus, which was traveling eastbound against a red light. The 24-year-old pregnant woman, who was a passenger in the Camry, lost her life as a result of the crash. The driver of the Camry and two passengers from the Lexus sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. The 24-year-old male driver of the Lexus, suspected of driving under the influence, was arrested for felony DUI and vehicular homicide.
