Fatal motorcycle collision in Boone County, Arkansas
BOONE COUNTY, Ark. — A 24-year-old motorcyclist died last week after a crash in Boone County, Arkansas. According to a crash summary from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Dalton Stanford, of Harrison, Arkansas, died around 6:54 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, near State Highway 7. Law enforcement says the incident occurred as Stanford was driving a 2004 Harley-Davidson north when the motorcycle crossed the center line in a curve and struck Peggy Barnes, 71, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, who was driving a 2026 Chevrolet. The crash summary states Stanford's next of kin has been notified. Officials report that Barnes was injured after the crash and was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The incident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
