Fatal Helicopter Crash in New Jersey
A tragic mid-air collision involving two helicopters occurred in Hammonton, New Jersey, on Sunday morning, resulting in one fatality and another person sustaining critical injuries. Local authorities were alerted about the aviation crash at 11:25 a.m. ET. According to a municipal government spokesperson, the helicopters crashed and one of them caught fire following the impact. The Federal Aviation Administration identified the two aircraft involved as an Enstrom F-28A and an Enstrom 280C helicopter. The FAA confirmed that only the pilots were on board each helicopter at the time of the incident. The National Transportation Safety Board will be spearheading the investigation into the crash.
