Fatal farm accident reported in Elbert County
In Elbert County, Georgia, a tragic incident described as a 'farming accident' by the coroner has resulted in the death of a man. The accident involving a skid steer took place on January 13 in Calhoun Falls, Elberton. The victim, identified as 72-year-old George Elbert King from Abingdon, Virginia, was transported to a nearby hospital by Elbert County EMS but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on January 14. Both the Elbert County Coroner's Office and Elbert County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating the situation.
