Fatal crash under investigation in Rock County
ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WTVO) — Rock County officials are investigating a fatal crash that claimed a driver who was ejected from the vehicle. The Rock County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies and other first responders were called to E. Highway 14 near S. Scharine Road, in the Town of Bradford, around 2:18 a.m. Police said the preliminary investigation revealed the driver lost control, hit the ditch and embankment, and was ejected in the collision. Despite life-saving measures performed at the scene, the driver was pronounced dead, officials said. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family, the sheriff's office said.
