Fatal crash on west side of Indianapolis under investigation by IMPD
Authorities from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are currently looking into a tragic collision that took place on the west side of Indianapolis Thursday morning. Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of N Lynhurst Drive and W Vermont Street just after 8 a.m., where the incident occurred. Originally reported as a personal injury accident involving entrapment, it was soon reclassified as a fatal crash. Lynhurst Drive is currently shut down between Rockville Road and 10th Street.
