Fatal crash on U.S. 41 caused by suspected DUI driver: FHP
A man in Brooksville, Florida has been arrested after driving under the influence and causing a fatal crash on U.S. 41. Jorge Andres Berrios Valencia, 32, was taken into custody on charges of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Berrios Valencia was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck in the wrong direction on the highway when he collided with a Dodge Ram, resulting in the death of a passenger named Daniel Young. Berrios Valencia's blood alcohol content was found to be over two times the legal limit, and he also tested positive for THC. He is currently held in Hernando County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
