Fatal crash on I-80 reveals victims' identities

The Solano County Coroners' Office has released the names of the three individuals who lost their lives in a tragic wrong-way collision in Fairfield. The tragic event occurred early Sunday morning when a white Dodge Charger and a black Land Rover Discovery collided on the westbound side of Interstate 80. The collision resulted in the fatalities of 21-year-old D'Juan Brown Jr. and 21-year-old Douglas McClain III, who were in the Dodge Charger, and 34-year-old Sweta Burathoki, who was driving the Land Rover. The Coroner's Office confirmed these details on Tuesday, noting that all three individuals succumbed to their injuries from the crash. Subsequently, a black Tesla and a red Toyota Tacoma were also involved in a collision in the same area. Authorities are still investigating whether alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor in the initial wrong-way crash, although impairment has been ruled out in the subsequent incident.
