Fatal crash on I-30 in Arlington
The Arlington police department is currently looking into a collision on Interstate 30 that resulted in one fatality and one individual being injured in the early hours of Saturday morning. Law enforcement was prompted to respond to the scene near SH 360 and Great Southwest Parkway following reports of a serious crash involving a burning vehicle at around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered two cars, a white sedan and a gray sedan, were involved in the incident. Tragically, the driver of the white sedan was declared deceased at the scene, while the driver of the gray sedan was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. According to investigators, both vehicles were traveling westbound on I-30 when the white sedan lost control, leading to the collision and subsequent fire. The exact cause of the white sedan's loss of control has not yet been determined. At this time, the identity of the deceased individual has not been disclosed.
