Fatal crash on I-10 in Jackson County claims driver’s life
JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) - A vehicle collision in Jackson County has left one man dead and another seriously injured. The crash occurred on I-10 around 3:15 p.m. Friday. A van was travelling westbound when the vehicle veered left and into the eastbound lane, where a semi-truck was travelling. The front end of the semi-truck collided with the right side of the van, causing both vehicles to travel off the roadway and collide with a tree. The driver of the van was killed, and the semi-truck driver was seriously injured. The deceased driver was unidentified, but the semi truck driver is a 65-year-old man from Mississippi.
