Fatal crash near Orange Grove involves three vehicles
A fatal collision occurred west of orange grove on Monday morning, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to two others. The incident involved three vehicles, including a Ford Fusion driven by Patricia Saldana. According to Sgt. Rob Mallory of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash took place at the intersection of FM 624 and County Road 305 when Saldana failed to stop and collided with a Chevrolet truck, subsequently causing it to hit a Toyota Venza. The driver of the Venza, San Juana Ramirez from Orange Grove, tragically succumbed to her injuries, while Saldana and the Chevrolet truck driver, Benjamin Ellis, were hospitalized in Alice. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
