Fatal crash leads to southbound I-35 closure at Grand Avenue Parkway
AUSTIN (KXAN) — First responders were at the scene of a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian Thursday morning. According to the Travis County Sheriff's Office, the crash was on North Interstate 35 heading south near Grand Avenue Parkway, and all lanes, which were initially closed, have reopened. At the time, drivers were told to expect significant delays and find alternate routes. The sheriff's office said the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) would lead the investigation.
