Fatal Crash Leads to Death of Individual in Upstate Highway Accident
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating a collision in Laurens County that resulted in the death of one person and left another injured. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at around 6:50 p.m. on SC-Highway 72 near SC-Highway 39 in Cross Hill. Reports indicate that a 2018 Ford SUV was exiting a private driveway onto Hwy 72 when it was struck by a 2018 Ford sedan. Both drivers were hospitalized following the crash. Unfortunately, the driver of the SUV, identified as 79-year-old David Coleman, passed away at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Further details regarding the incident have not yet been disclosed.
