Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle and Pickup Claims Life of Pittsburg Man
A tragic accident occurred on Missouri 43, approximately 5 miles north of Airport Drive, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist from Pittsburg. The incident took place at 5:20 PM on Thursday when a Toyota Tundra driven by a 77-year-old woman from Webb City was slowing down for traffic. The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Christuffer Roeder, was also traveling north and collided with the rear of the Tundra. Roeder was pronounced dead at a Joplin hospital just before 11 PM that same night. This marks the 64th fatality for 2025 reported by Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D.
