Fatal crash involving driver and semi-truck in Utah County
A tragic accident occurred on U.S. Highway 6 in Utah County, leading to the loss of a man's life. According to Lt. Cameron Roden of the Utah Highway Patrol, the driver of a pickup truck lost control near mile marker 204 on Sunday afternoon around 4:40 p.m. The truck spun into the opposite lanes and was hit by a semi-truck on the passenger side, resulting in the driver's fatality. The semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries. As a result, westbound lanes are closed, and traffic is being redirected through the turn lane, while eastbound lanes remain open. Authorities are investigating the incident, considering wet road conditions at the time.
