Fatal crash in Riverside County, DUI suspect arrested
A driver suspected of DUI was arrested following a collision in Wildomar, Riverside County, on Monday evening. The incident, near Clinton Keith Road and Palomar Street, resulted in one fatality and another driver being in critical condition. Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene just after 9 p.m. and found one victim – thought to be a passenger – with severe injuries. Despite efforts to save their life, the individual passed away on-site. The driver had to be rescued from their vehicle and was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The Sheriff's Office stated that the second driver was apprehended for driving under the influence.
