Fatal crash in Plano causes traffic delays Monday night, police say
Plano police are investigating a fatal traffic accident Monday night that resulted in the closure of all northbound traffic on sections of Parkwood Boulevard, according to a statement. The northbound lanes from West Parker Road to Windhaven Parkway will be closed for an undetermined amount of time, police said. Police and Plano Fire/Rescue staff are at the scene, and authorities asked motorists to seek an alternate route and avoid the area if possible. “For your safety and the safety of workers in the area, please remain alert and proceed with caution,” the statement said.
