Fatal crash in Pendleton County claims 1 life, 2 juveniles injured
FALMOUTH, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person was killed, and two juveniles were injured in a crash Friday night in Pendleton County. According to a news release, Kentucky State Police was called around 9 p.m. May 29 to a two-vehicle crash near the 2600 block of U.S. 27 in Pendleton County. A preliminary investigation indicates that Sandra Barker, 67, was traveling northbound on U.S. 27 when she crossed the center line and struck a Ram pickup truck driven by Everett Gibson, 57. Barker was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pendleton County Coroner's Office. Two juvenile passengers of the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
