Fatal crash in North Omaha claims 2 lives, injures 3

A collision in north Omaha resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The Omaha Police Department reported that a 2001 Ford Escape veered across the median and crashed into a Subaru Outback and a pole at the intersection of 50th Street and Ames Avenue. Emergency services were required to rescue two individuals from the SUV. The victims, Felicia Warner, 44, and Nyaguk Bel, 30, were fatally injured, while the three other Ford occupants were hospitalized. It was noted that none of them were wearing seatbelts, according to OPD. The Subaru driver was fortunately unharmed. The police are currently investigating the incident.
