Fatal crash in Dayton on Saturday morning
A tragic incident occurred near I-75 SB in Dayton, Ohio, resulting in a fatality, making it the second crash in less than 24 hours in the area. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported the crash as an injury accident around 4 a.m. The Dayton Police Department's spokesperson, James Rider, confirmed the crash was fatal. Lanes were temporarily closed for investigation before being reopened. A 911 caller observed the crash, mentioning a sedan colliding with a car near Stewart Street and Patterson Boulevard. The caller reported the sedan fleeing the scene and driving the wrong way on I-75, with a police cruiser initiating a pursuit.
