Fatal crash claims three lives in Oklahoma

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — A head-on collision has left three people dead, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. The patrol reported Ryan Lawfer, 21, of Sapulpa, Aiden Jones, 22, of Wagoner, and a 17-year-old Kiefer juvenile were killed when a Chevy Trax and a GMC Sierra pulling a boat crashed. The police report did not identify which vehicle Lawfer was driving. One passenger in Lawfer's vehicle was injured but not identified. The collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. on July 4 at the intersection of Highway 169 and CR E 300 Road. The driver of one of the vehicles and four passengers are unknown and under investigation, the patrol reported. The patrol said one passenger was injured. Information provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was reported during the preliminary stages of the investigation.  All information could be subject to change.
