Fatal crash at Dorothy Lane and Shroyer Road; one fatality, one injured
Emergency responders were at the scene of a serious four-vehicle collision at the junction of East Dorothy Lane and Shroyer Road in Dayton, Ohio. Regrettably, one individual lost their life in the accident, while another was hospitalized. The crash occurred before 10 a.m., with the Kettering Police advising drivers to steer clear of the Shroyer and Dorothy intersection due to a temporary closure. Witnesses described the crash as significant, with one vehicle completely damaged. A KPD representative stated that the collision unfolded when a vehicle traveling south on Shoryer failed to stop or slow down, crashing into stationary traffic at full speed. While two individuals were transported to the hospital, sadly one of them succumbed to their injuries. The police do not suspect alcohol played a role in the crash and no charges have been filed yet.
