Fatal crash as train collides with vehicle in Camarillo
Tragically, a fatal incident occurred in Camarillo when a truck collided with a train. The collision took place in the Oxnard Plains area just outside Camarillo, prompting an immediate response from emergency crews. Ventura County Fire reported that a southbound Metrolink train struck the vehicle at an intersection, resulting in the driver's death. Thankfully, there were no injuries among the 14 passengers and two crew members on the train. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
