Fatal crash after driver of stolen vehicle evades San Jose police
According to the San Jose Police Department, a driver in a stolen vehicle died in a crash over the weekend while trying to evade officers. The incident started early Saturday morning when police attempted to stop a 2013 Infiniti EX37 sedan on Winchester Boulevard near Moorpark Avenue. The driver sped away and eventually crashed into a cement wall on Moorpark. Unfortunately, the driver passed away in the accident. The driver has not been identified and police are working to inform their family. This marks the third fatal collision in the city in 2026.
