Fatal collision: Woman, 59, dies in pedestrian crash
A tragic accident took place on Friday night on the 700 block of 27 Road in Mesa County, resulting in the death of 59-year-old Julie Armbruster, a resident of Grand Junction. Julie was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at around 10:50 p.m., as reported by the Mesa County Coroner's Office. Despite efforts by the Grand Junction Fire Department to save her, she was declared deceased at the scene. The coroner's autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was injuries sustained in the crash.
