Fatal Christmas Eve collision in west Columbus
A fatal accident took place on Christmas Eve in west Columbus, resulting in the death of one person. The collision occurred at the intersection of Roberts Road and Windflower Road East. A 2002 Chevy Suburban traveling southbound on Windflower Road was hit by a 2013 Chevy Silverado heading westbound on Roberts Road. The driver of the Suburban, an adult, was taken to a nearby hospital and declared dead in the emergency room. The Columbus Division of Police's Accident Investigation Unit is currently looking into the incident. Further details are not yet available.
