Fatal chain reaction crash on Roosevelt Boulevard

A tragic incident on Roosevelt Boulevard resulted in the loss of one man's life and left another in critical condition. The two men, aged 31 and 55, were involved in a car crash that disabled their vehicles in the northbound lanes. As they tried to avoid further harm, they jumped over a concrete median and were struck by an oncoming Toyota on the southbound side. The 55-year-old man passed away at the scene, while the 31-year-old was rushed to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition. The responsible 21-year-old driver stayed at the site and contacted authorities. The identity of the deceased man has not yet been disclosed.
