Fatal car crash in Washington County leaves one person dead and another injured
Law enforcement officers from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol were involved in responding to a tragic incident in Washington County. The incident was a fatal car crash that happened on US Highway 64, just west of Plymouth, at 2:50pm on December 10. Reports indicate that a 74-year-old Corolla resident, Elaine Gregory Bradley, was driving a 2016 Nissan westbound when her vehicle veered across the centerline and collided with a loaded 2020 Western Star dump truck carrying asphalt. Unfortunately, Bradley did not survive the crash. The driver of the dump truck sustained serious injuries but they were not life-threatening and was airlifted to ECU Health in Greenville for medical treatment.
