Fatal car crash in Placer County leaves one person dead and another injured
A fatal vehicle collision in Placer County on Saturday morning resulted in one person losing their life while another individual was taken to the hospital. The head-on crash that occurred on Eureka Road at Farschon Place in Granite Bay involved a white Ford Mustang and a Black Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the Mustang, a resident of Granite Bay, was fatally injured, while the Tahoe driver sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized. It is currently unclear if impairment played a role in the incident. California Highway Patrol had temporarily closed Eureka Road to conduct an investigation, but the road has since been reopened.
