Fatal car crash in Logan Square results in woman's ejection from vehicle.
A tragic incident occurred in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood in the early hours of Monday morning, resulting in the death of a 31-year-old woman. The fatal crash took place on West Diversey Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when a black sedan carrying two women lost control, hitting a parked vehicle and then colliding with an eastbound semi-truck. The passenger in the sedan, also 31 years old, was tragically ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan, who is also 31, was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition. Thankfully, the driver of the semi-truck was unharmed. Authorities are investigating the incident, and citations are pending as more information is gathered.
