Fatal car crash claims one life on NC 102.
In Pitt County, North Carolina, the State Highway Patrol responded to a tragic car accident early on Friday morning. The incident occurred on NC 102 near Madison Hardee Road around 4am following a single fatal collision. According to reports, 37-year-old Patrick Alonzo Bell from Washington was the driver involved. Allegedly, Bell veered off NC 102, striking a ditch culvert which caused his vehicle to overturn and come to a rest off the road. Sadly, Bell was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was fatally ejected from his car. He had already passed away by the time emergency medical services arrived at the scene.
