Fatal car accident in Metairie
A fatal car accident occurred in Metairie on October 5th, resulting in the death of a man. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office reported that the incident took place early morning on Veterans Boulevard near Neyrey Drive. Deputies discovered an injured man in a two-door white vehicle, who was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Investigations by JPSO indicated that the vehicle, traveling east on Veterans Boulevard, hit several curbs before colliding with a tree on the median.
