Fatal Bay County collision claims two lives
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) - Two people have died and one person is seriously injured after a vehicle collision on Gainer Road in Bay County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan was driving eastbound on State Road 20, west of Gainer Road, around 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday. At the same time, a garbage truck was stopped in the road, picking up some trash, when the sedan collided with the rear end of the truck. The driver and a passenger in the sedan, a 68-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman from Clarksville, were killed. A third passenger in the sedan was seriously injured. The garbage truck driver was unharmed. The investigation remains ongoing.
