Fatal accident on I-15 on-ramp claims man's life in St. George
A tragic rollover accident claimed the life of a truck driver in St. George, leading to the temporary closure of the I-15 on-ramp early Monday morning. The driver, identified as a 66-year-old man by Utah Highway Patrol, was driving a commercial Mack truck carrying construction materials when the vehicle veered off the freeway near Brigham Road overpass. The truck rolled over between the on-ramp and I-15, resulting in fatal injuries to the driver as the cab was crushed. Emergency responders assisted in freeing the man from the wreckage, and although traffic was significantly impacted in the Bloomington area, it has since returned to normal. The incident is currently under investigation.
