Fatal accident in southeast Fort Wayne involving teenager
A tragic incident occurred in Fort Wayne, Indiana when a fatal crash took place at the intersection of S. Anthony Blvd. and Gardendale Ave. The teenager who lost his life in the accident was identified as 17-year-old Bay Lar from Fort Wayne by the Allen County Coroner. The collision involved two vehicles travelling in opposite directions on Anthony, with the crash occurring when one attempted to turn onto Gardendale. Both vehicles had two occupants, and all four individuals were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Unfortunately, Bay Lar passed away due to blunt impact injuries to his head and torso. A thorough investigation was conducted by the Fort Wayne Fatal Accident Crash Team, with support from the FWPD Air Support Unit and the Allen County Coroner's Office.
