Fatal accident in Manitowoc Co. claims life of 17-year-old Sheboygan girl
A tragic incident occurred on Jan. 10 in Manitowoc County, where a 17-year-old girl lost her life in a two-vehicle collision, as reported by the local sheriff's office. The crash took place near State Highway 57/32 and Cemetery Road, with the teen reportedly driving southbound on State Highway 57/32 when she lost control of her 2005 Buick LaCrosse. After crossing the median, her vehicle was struck by a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by a 65-year-old man. Unfortunately, the girl passed away at the scene, while the man sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting in reconstructing the accident, but the sheriff's office did not release the girl's identity.
