Fatal accident claims life of woman from Anderson
A woman from Anderson, Missouri, was killed in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.The Highway Patrol says it happened when an SUV crossed the center line of Highway 76 and hit a trash truck hauler head-on.The 38-year-old woman, who's identity has not been made public, died at a Joplin hospital.This Troop D's 14th fatality for the year.The highway was closed for about six hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
