Fatal accident as car hits pole on Upstate road - coroner confirmed.
The Anderson County Coroner's Office is looking into a fatal crash that occurred on Wednesday night, leaving one person dead. The incident took place on Blue Ridge Avenue close to Herman Brooks Road in Belton around 7:30 p.m. The crash involved a vehicle hitting a utility pole, resulting in one fatality and another person being airlifted, as reported by WYFF News 4 on-site. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and Anderson County Sheriff's Office also arrived at the scene to assist. At present, the victim's identity has not been disclosed by the coroner.
