Fatal 2-car crash on north side of Indianapolis
In Indianapolis, on Thursday morning, a fatal two-vehicle accident occurred on the north side. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials reported that a person was pronounced dead following the incident. The accident took place at approximately 6:51 a.m. on the 2800 block of W 79th St. IMPD's northwest district officers were on the scene, and crash investigators are conducting an investigation. 79th Street is anticipated to be closed in both directions while the investigation persists.
