Family starts GoFundMe after five injured in head-on crash in Chesterfield Twp.

Several individuals were hospitalized following a head-on collision that occurred in Chesterfield Township on Wednesday night. Currently, the community is rallying together to provide online assistance to those impacted. According to the Chesterfield Township police, the incident took place on 26 Mile Road, just west of I-94, involving two vehicles colliding on EB 26 Mile Rd. Emergency responders transported a 59-year-old woman and her passenger from the first vehicle to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, while a 25-year-old driver and two children from the other vehicle were also taken to a nearby medical facility. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. In response to the tragedy, the brother of one of the victims established a GoFundMe page that has raised more than $1,100 by Thursday evening, with a set goal of $7,500.
