El Pasoan arrested after fatal crash kills teen vendor in Juarez
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Authorities said an El Paso resident was arrested after allegedly striking and killing a 13-year-old boy while attempting to flee a traffic officer in Ciudad Juarez. The incident reportedly occurred near the Paso del Norte International Bridge, also known as the Puente Libre, where the teenager was selling Mexico soccer jerseys on Sunday, July 5. Authorities said the driver attempted to evade a municipal traffic officer before the vehicle struck the child. The 13-year-old died as a result of the collision.
