Eastbound lanes of I-44 at Adair exit in Mayes County closed after 15-20 car crash
MAYES COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said all eastbound lanes of I-44 near the Adair exit onto OK-28 in Mayes County are closed following a multi-car crash that is currently reported to have involved 15 to 20 cars. At this time, all eastbound traffic is being diverted off the highway at the Claremore exit, located at mile marker 255. Several OHP units are on scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible. KTUL has a crew heading to the scene and will provide more information once it becomes available.
