Early morning crash in Peshtigo, driver walks away with non-life-threatening injuries

PESHTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in northern Wisconsin provided information about a single-vehicle crash that happened early Wednesday morning. According to the Peshtigo Fire Department, around 4:15 a.m. on June 17, crews were sent to a single vehicle crash along County BB near Nimmergood Lane. The only person in the vehicle was able to get out of the vehicle and walk to a nearby residence. The driver was reportedly taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. In the release, it was mentioned that firefighters searched the area for a missing dog but no dog was found. After debris was cleaned up, the roadway was reopened around 5:30 a.m. The cause of the crash was not provided. No additional information was provided.
