DRIVER WANTED: Woman struck and killed in Arlington hit-and-run
The Arlington County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened early Monday morning. Around 1:22 a.m., officers were dispatched to Columbia Pike at S. Thomas Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a woman unresponsive in the roadway with serious injuries. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains ongoing.
