DRIVER WANTED: Woman killed in Arlington hit-and-run

The Arlington County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened early Monday morning. Around 1:22 a.m., officers were dispatched to Columbia Pike at S. Thomas Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a woman unresponsive in the roadway with serious injuries. The vehicle is described as a Honda CRV, potentially a 2016 through 2019 model in the color Obsidian Blue Pearl (dark blue). The vehicle is missing its front grill, police said. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains ongoing.
