Driver runs away following deadly collision in Vallejo
Vallejo authorities are currently seeking a driver who fled the scene of a tragic pedestrian accident. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Sonoma Boulevard and Redwood Street involving two vehicles and a pedestrian. Unfortunately, the pedestrian, identified as a woman, suffered fatal injuries. Two others in one of the vehicles were injured and taken to the hospital. The driver who fled on foot was not present when law enforcement arrived at the scene. The Vallejo Police Department is actively investigating the accident, which is the second fatal collision in Vallejo this year. More details have not been disclosed at this time.
