A man sadly lost his life in a chain reaction crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 79 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The accident happened on Thursday around 11:45 am with snowy conditions causing poor visibility. A semi-trailer was rear-ended while stopped in traffic, triggering a series of collisions. The second semi and a third vehicle were also involved. Tragically, the driver of the third vehicle passed away at the scene. The crash led to road closure for about 4 hours. The National Weather Service advises caution when driving in snowy conditions, as a significant number of injuries are observed in such circumstances.
