Driver investigated after fatal motorbike crash in Springdale
SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A 17-year-old was involved in a fatal accident on Saturday, May 9. The accident occurred around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of East Huntsville Avenue and East Emma Avenue. The teenager was allegedly riding a motorbike when a vehicle turned in front of him. EMS responded to the scene, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle is currently under investigation. Officers are currently waiting for lab results from the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine if the driver was impaired. No further information is known at this time. This is an ongoing story.
