Driver in Albuquerque arrested after deadly crash due to drunk driving

Albuquerque police arrested a man following a deadly drunk driving incident on Wednesday night. The crash occurred at 8:35 p.m. at the intersection of Wyoming and Indian School. According to APD, a white Lincoln car was moving south on Wyoming and turning east onto Indian School when a silver Honda, traveling at high speed, collided with it. Sadly, the passenger in the Lincoln succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while both drivers were transported to the hospital. The driver of the Honda, Joshua Montano, 24, confessed to drinking alcohol, prompting a DWI investigation. Montano is now facing various charges, including vehicular homicide.
